In just a few days members from the Ohio Chapter, Summit for Soldiers Veteran's Mountaineering Club will head out to hit as many State high points from Ohio to Colorado. The main objective will be Mount Elbert (14, 430 ft), the tallest mountain in Colorado and the 2nd highest in the lower 48. This will also be a memorial hike for our fallen member Maj. Chris Thomas.
We leave on Sunday the 14th and will return on Saturday the 20th. Follow us on Facebook and our Spot device. If you are in the area, come join us at the highpoint of your state!
